Brett Brody

Prior to founding Opportunity Engine, Brett Brody was most recently the Chief Strategy Officer at Source, a venture backed web3 startup based between NYC, Toronto, and Silicon Valley. He is currently an advisor to a number of startups and previously spent 5 years building VentureOut, a global startup accelerator with over 800 alumni having raised >$2b in funding and achieving over 40 exits. Brett has over 10 years of experience in technology & entrepreneurship, with operating roles ranging from enterprise software implementation to sales, growth marketing, and product development.


Patrick McCarthy

Patrick was employee #2 at SpokenLayer, where he helped build a $4M ARR SaaS business in the podcasting space with over 100 top-tier media customers like Meredith, McClatchy, and The Economist, while also developing partnerships with Apple, Spotify, and Pandora and raising $10M in VC. Patrick has his 10,000 hours running a startup from the ground up, building out operations and financial systems and building teams that get results. On top of running the West Coast for another startup, Patrick is also an Expert Operator with the KnowCap Atlanta accelerator, and actively advises and mentors startups and founders on operations and fundraising.


Noni Culotta

Noni is a former freelancer/creative who got involved in tech by co-founding Art in Res, an online fine-art marketplace (YC W2020). She has since honed her skills in operations, marketing and community building roles, with a passion for creative strategy. Her arts background and a genuine love for people combine to make helping others realize their visions one of her greatest passions.


Doug Foulger

Doug is a proud husband and father who grew up in the Washington D.C. area and is currently based in Southern California. He graduated from BYU, is a partner in a Bitcoin mining business, the growth manager at Chirpp Consulting, co-founded The Fetch Club, and runs marketing for Mountain Wild Pet. He loves hanging out with my wife and daughter, surfing, skiing, and fly fishing.


Eric Wollberg

Eric currently leads Strategic Expansion at Gnowbe, an ed-tech platform that serves the Fortune 1000. Additionally, he works on partnerships at Energia, which is an innovation platform serving the burgeoning Psychedelics space. Also, feel free to check out his new podcast Grab The Reins!


Josh Stevens

Josh currently leads partnership operations for early-stage healthcare startup Ready Responders. Previously, He served as Chief of Staff for the Strategic Investments Group at the NYC Economic Development Corporation where his focus was building and supporting the healthcare and life sciences ecosystems and the broader innovation economy in New York.


Amit Chauhan

Amit started a career in sales and business development but soon transitioned to adtech as he was always intrigued by utilizing consumer adtech in the recruitment space. Amit launched Recroup, a social recruiting platform as the first step to enter the job advertising industry and later launched JobAdX using his learnings from Recroup, which has now raised over $2mm in funding. Amit is an often featured writer on work, career, and hiring in online publications like Mashable, Business Insider, Fast Company, etc.


Leonid Grebinka

Leonid is currently working as a Scout and Analyst at a Moscow-based venture fund that invests in early-stage startups in the Bio/Medtech space. At the same time, he is working towards his Masters in Finance at the Tor Vergata University in Rome. He previously worked at PwC, where he conducted research analysis in the cultural institutions' sphere and graduated from one of the top-3 Russian universities - Higher School of Economics.


Abhi Shah

Abhi graduated from Northeastern University in 2018 with experience at Fortune 500 companies including Amazon & UBS. During his tenure at Northeastern, he was the co-founder of Huntington Angels Network, an Angel Facilitation group that works closely with early-stage startups in their effort to help close funding. Upon graduating he has held positions at Boxed & FastPay where he’s been responsible for business development, partnerships, and product growth.


Mohamed Elawad

Mohamed is an entrepreneur with career-long record in operations, business development, and product management success in the US and the Middle East. Following a brief stint as a Civil Engineer, Mohamed decided to follow his interests in technology and launch Medativ in Dubai, UAE, pioneering medical 3D printing in the Middle East. Mohamed also ran product and partnerships at Blue Duck Scooters out of San Antonio, TX. Mohamed holds a degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, is an avid Arsenal FC fan, and considers himself a connoisseur of espressos and burgers.


Jammal Ferrel

Prior to joining the team at Opportunity Engine, Jamal has dedicated the last 5 years to growing and scaling pre-launch startups through seed and series rounds, including going through a leading NYC based accelerator. The Texas native has found a passion and 10+ years of experience providing unparalleled customer support, success & working and building in operations.


Brady Klein

Brady is driven to digitize and decarbonize cities with transformative technology. As a Sales Executive at EnergyHub, he helps electric and gas utilities tap into customer-owned distributed energy resources to navigate the clean energy transition. Prior to joining EnergyHub, Brady spent three years as a smart grid consultant at IBM, working alongside energy providers to implement complex digital infrastructure and unlock new streams of IoT data for millions of end customers.
